This was inspired by my Grandmother's industrial sewing machine that she gave me many years ago. Some of my early childhood memories were going with my Grandfather to pick up my Grandma at work at the "sweatshop" in Paterson, New Jersey (Paterson is where I was born). When you turn the wheel on the right it operates the needle to go up and down. This version is main body in Sterling silver 925 with the other elemenst in bronze.
     The green "thread" is color coated wire. A great gift for the quilter or seamstress in your life! measures 1.75"tall x2" wide/4.5cm tall x 5cm wide.
