This piece was made on the potter's wheel in stoneware clay. It went through an Anagama kiln firing-that's really super hot! She's only glazed with some ceramic pigments and the sheen comes from the smoke and ash vaporizing within the kiln chamber. She'll hold water too, and she'd be a great vase or container for utensils. Her earring is vintage lucite and she stands 7"/19cm in height
