In 1892 the Infamous Lizzie Borden was acused of brutally murdering her parents with an ax. The Family lived in Fall River, Massachusetts. Lizzie was acquitted was it was still suspected by many that she and her sister masterminded the event. August of 1992 was the 100th anniversary of the "crime". I made this articulated piece for the event that was held in Fall River in that year. This version is all bronze and has a dark patina. It was made by the process of repousee. She is nearly 4" from top to bottom.
