I created this piece partially on the potter’s wheel, partially handbuilt and then altered with wet clay and carving. The glazes are my own formulas. These amazing metallic glazes are called "Lusters". They are the culmination of years of experiments. It’s glazed inside too so it can be used as a bud vase. The eyes are vintage glass set in bronze settings.
