This delightful rendition of this ancient animal was made by the process of repousee. By placing the metal (my originals are made of copper) into gooey pine pitch, I use a series of chisels to give the metal shape. The tail sections were then fabricated to create the movement. This listing is for the sterling version of the Horseshoe crab, see the other listing to purchase the bronze version. The tail sections are jointed so they have great movement. Be sure to mark your preference of a pin or pendant. This piece measures 2.5" from tip to tip and 1.25" side to side.
